Autumn winds. As much as I love the wind playing in my hair, as much he seems to irritate my mind. Add the drying effect of the heating systems in the houses and my skin feels dry, my mind ungrounded and my joints more stiff. So what to do?

Dont be shy adding some good oils like olive oil, coconut oil and ghee. And dont worry about calories. Good oils help your digestive system to work better and therefore faster. Nothing sitts longer then needed. Plus they do provide you with essential nutritions, so you dont have to stuff yourself with weakening energy boosters such as refined sugars and you know the rest…
So add some oil to your stews and soups. My all time favourite is pumkin soup. But basically every vegetable you like is great. Remember it is time of harvest, so to go local and seasonal should be easy now. Ground yourself with natures gifts that grow underneath the earth, such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, beet roots, pastinaks etc…

The principle is to „combat“ the element of wind with the element of earth and guess what? dryness with lubrication – don’t we love simplicity; ))
By the way, food for the joints are, right – OIL, YES! AND MOVEMENT, tatatata
So why not massage your joints with warm sesamen oil and rotate them at least in your yoga class? In between enjoy a little dance with the wind!
